Description: Hi everybody Today THE FABULOUS FAY IS BACK, for her Lockdown 2 nail removal! Even though we should only be in lockdown for 4 weeks, it might be longer so we’re prepping Fay’s nails for a long lockdown now so she doesn’t have to do it herself like last time. We’ve got a lot going on with these nails too, so it’s a good chance to show you how to remove these techniques. We’re going to start by cutting the nails off above where the natural nail ends. I’m then going to take the remaining stones off by cutting the acrygel underneath the stones. I’ll use an electric file to remove the bulk of the nail so the soak off it quicker. I’ll wrap the nails in an acetone soaked pad and tin foil to melt the acrylic so we can just scrape that off and then file the remaining acrylic with a buffer. I’m going to do my cuticle work with an efile today so it’s all nice and pretty and we can get as close to the cuticle as possible with the product. I’ll then use a 240 girt file to file the nails into a square shape. I’m going to dehydrate and base coat the nails before using Builder Gel and two coats of Devil’s Shadow and finishing with Top Coat and cuticle oil.
